PADI Enriched Air Diver
There is a really simple reason this is PADI's most popular course - As divers we all want to dive for longer - Breathing enriched air helps us to do this. Spend more time at your chosen depth, than you can on air alone. Have shorter surface intervals on repetitive dives - Get back in the water sooner!
Anyone from the age of 12 upwards can enrol in this course, and due to recent changes we can now teach this great course as part of the PADI Open Water course.
The key learning from this course is as follows:
Why diving with air that has higher oxygen and lower nitrogen content gives you more bottom time?
What are the equipment considerations for using enriched air?
How do we manage oxygen exposure?
How do you Analyse oxygen content in your scuba cylinder?
How do you set your dive computer for diving with enriched air?
We can offer you two options with the PADI Enriched Air Specialty:
OPTION 1 - Dry Course - Theory and practical skills / simulations - £139 An Optional Project AWARE donation can be added at the time of certification. If you would like PADI e-learning, this can be accommodated also for £154.
OPTION 2 - Add two in water practical dives, where you will plan your dives and gas mixes, analyse contents and take two in water dives using enriched air £259
