f you’ve ever wondered how to take your first breath underwater, you’re in the right place!
1. Start with a Try Dive (Discover Scuba)
• If you’ve never dived before, our PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience is the perfect place to begin. It’s a beginner-friendly session in a pool where you get to breathe underwater and learn basic skills under close supervision — no previous experience needed.
2. Learn to Dive with a PADI Open Water Course
• The next step — and the most popular way to start — is the PADI Open Water Diver course. This is a fully certified course that teaches you all the skills, safety knowledge and confidence you need to dive anywhere in the world. You’ll learn in the pool with us locally before doing your open water training dives.
3. Get the Right Training and Support
• We focus on small group instruction and calm, structured teaching so you learn at your own pace. Our team is made up of experienced PADI certified instructors, and we provide all the core equipment you’ll need for your training sessions.
4. Pre-course Requirements
• To begin, you’ll need to be reasonably comfortable in the water and fill out a medical statement (which we can help with). No expert swimming skills are required — just basic comfort in the water. (Dive training in temperate climates like the UK includes drysuit skill sessions too.)
5. What Happens Once You’re Certified
• Once you’re certified as a PADI Open Water Diver, you can dive independently with a buddy to depths of up to 18 m. From there you can continue your training with specialties (like navigation or deep diving), join club dives, or even go on overseas dive trips with us.
6. Ready to Dive In?
