What’s my favourite ever dive?
Well, that’s a hard question to answer as there have been so many that hold a special place in my memories. But out of all them one that truly sticks out is St Johns’ caves in the Red Sea in Egypt. I visited St Johns' during a Red Sea Liveaboard run by Bespoke Scuba Diving #redsea.
I would really recommend you join the next one - I have completed two so far! The photo below was at the end of our last trip, where many of us completed the 20+ dives in the week and became #irondivers!
For me this was just such an enjoyable dive as you had such a great mixture of environments
from open reef to cave like passages where the currents have eroded through the rock
formations through time.
You got to see the sunlight beaming through gaps in the rock formations overhead, It really is ethereal! This led to some epic photo's!
Juvenile white tip sharks swimming around in the passages, loads of great swim throughs
which led to large cave like structures in the rocks
It was only a shallow dive but it was by far one of my most memorable experiences simply
due to the fact that I came out of that dive smiling from ear to ear.
At the start of 2024 I became a PADI Divemaster, followed by a PADI Discover Scuba Diving Leader, and now I am back home and not enjoying the wonders of the #egyptian #Redsea back home, I teach #PADI Discover Scuba Diving sessions, which I believe are great introduction sessions for the wannabe diver as they introduce you to the underwater world and give you a great insight into how your PADI Open Water course will start. It really is a great way to build your confidence in the water.
I believe that there is no better place for your diving education than with Bespoke Scuba, it truly is like a family and the education and teaching is second to none that’s why I’ve completed all my courses from "re-activating" my PADI, Many recreational specialites and as I mentioned above, I am now a PADI Discover Scuba Diving Leader, helping people take their first breaths underwater!
For me I cant wait to get back to the Red Sea and MY favourite dive site - St Johns' Caves
