Paul Hunt

PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, Specialty Instructor, EFR Instructor and PADI Tec 50 Diver.

Having spent most of my life either in or under the water, it was only natural that my next progression was to scuba dive.  Leaving it quite late in life, I didn’t pass my Open Water course until 2014 but quickly followed it up with the Advanced Open Water course a couple of days later in the warm waters of the Rea Sea whilst on holiday.

Since then I have spent the past four years diving regularly - you could say I’m hooked!  I quickly progressed through the PADI system and became a PADI Instructor in March 2018 and also became a PADI Tec 50 Diver too.

Diving in many amazing places around the world and teaching has been a privilege. I have been lucky enough to dive with sharks, manta rays, dolphins and whale sharks.

Teaching open water students to dive is so rewarding; seeing their reaction for the first time when they are submerged into this 3D underwater world - a place where I feel at home.

Also like Paul F, I am a self-confessed liveaboard junkie too. In fact in you can’t find me teaching in U.K. waters then you will probably find my wife Jule's and I on a liveaboard in the Rea Sea or Indian Ocean.

Having my wife share the same passion for teaching Scuba makes for a great lifestyle and easy decisions when it comes to holidays.

Underwater videography is my passion and I can usually be found in the blue looking for the big critters.  As I often say “if it’s not bigger than Jules then I’m not filming it!”…

My last words of wisdom are that my only regret is not to have taken up scuba earlier in life, so don’t put off learning to dive: Learn to dive with us today!
